God:
We believe in one eternal self-existing God, the Creator of all that is seen and unseen. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. These three Persons are the same Being, with the same nature and character, and exist in perfect unity. He is holy, just and always good.
Jesus:
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus lived on the earth as both God and as human. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins and was buried but rose again to redeem all who are willing to receive Him as Lord and Saviour. Jesus is God’s anointed one to restore relationship back between God and man. We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and that no one comes to the Father but by Him, and that he is coming back again for his bride (the church).
Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is sent to comfort, teach and guide us in our relationship with God, while at the same time bringing conviction of sin and empowering us to live a righteous and holy life. We believe that all Christians can be baptised and filled with the Holy Spirit, enabling us to be witnesses as the Holy Spirit lives and is at work within us. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with spiritual gifts such as prophecy and speaking in tongues for the service of the church and world, and fills us with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness and self-control.
Salvation:
We believe that salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned, but must be received by faith. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, God by His grace offers a restoration of our relationship with Him both now and in eternity. We believe that God welcomes those who humbly come to Him, repent of sin and accept His Son Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Saviour. The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy and from the consequences of sin: sickness, lies, torment, death, separation and judgment.
The Bible:
We believe that the Bible is the infallible word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, everlasting and relevant to our daily lives. We believe that all Scripture is inspired by God and unchangeable in nature. It is reliable for correcting, teaching and instructing in the ways of life.
The Church:
We believe that the church are the beloved sons and daughters of God, created in His image, and followers of His son Jesus. We are the bride of Christ who are being prepared for his return, with the mandate of bringing heaven to earth, and to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We believe that every Christian is invited to live like Jesus by displaying unconditional love, sharing the good news of salvation through Christ, and the fullness of life available through relationship with God. We believe that the Church is called to advance and demonstrate the kingdom of God, and to make disciples of all nations according to the commands of Jesus.
Heaven and Hell:
We believe that Heaven and Hell are literal places. We believe God will judge and/or reward every person according to the decisions he or she has made during their life on earth; some to everlasting life in heaven and some to eternal separation from God in hell. We believe that hell and the lake of fire, were originally set apart for Satan and the one third of the fallen angels that were cast out of heaven, for the rebellion against God. We believe in the ministry of holy angels towards God and for the service of carrying out His plans.
Baptism:
We believe in baptism by full immersion in water and the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. We believe that water baptism is more than just a metaphor or symbolic act; it is for the forgiveness of sins, where an actual transaction and transition takes place as we die and rise with Christ. Water baptism is essential for every believer to walk out a victorious life now on the earth.
5 Fold Ministry:
We believe that Jesus has given to the church: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to become mature to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
